Great Charger
This is my 3rd Charger for 18650 batteries and it is by far the best. I’m a Master Electrician and I tested the results using a digital multimeter.Pros: Well made of quality materials. Screen is easy to read. Charger reads resistance of each battery and automatically chooses charge rate up to 800ma for each battery. Charges using the preferred method of Constant Current first then automatically switching to Constant Voltage to finish at full 4.2 volts. (Some less expensive chargers use Constant Current only and may not provide full charge) 120 volt cord plugs into any household outlet eliminating need for an additional 5 volt USB Charger like less expensive chargers.Cons: only one is the Discharge Capacity Test. instructions not the best for discharge capacity test requiring some trial and error. Discharge capacity test will drain batteries below the recommended 3.0 volt threshold for 18650 batteries which may effect battery life and I cannot find a way to change this threshold. May be user error.Summary:Well made. Easy to use. Charges properly.

Full featured battery charger
I use a lot of rechargeable batteries and have several chargers. I decided to try the KINDEN because the display shows a lot more information than my other chargers. This information can be used to get a estimation of a batteries life and remaining useful life. It displays current battery voltage, battery resistance, type of battery, charging current, charging time, etc. You can also discharge batteries and perform a capacity test using the discharge/charge cycle. The only issue I have is only slot #4 can be used for some of the advanced functions (capacity testing for example). My charger arrived with only the AC power cord but I believe it is supposed to come with a 12v DC power cord as well.

Excellent Standard Charger
Pros: It works exactly as intended, very good auto detection of battery voltage and charging needs of each battery, excellent ongoing display of charging statuses and current amps. Charges 4 slots simultaneously and independently. Overcharge protection and display of "FULL" for each battery slot when done. 4th slot allows battery testing, and discharge/recharge. Large clear display and two button programming for simplification. Handles various sizes of rechargeable batteries very well.Cons: Instructions could be more clear; does not tell you that display will read 4.20 when complete regardless of the actual volts which may concern a novice thinking that they are going to overcharge and explode a 3.7v li-ion battery. Only allows testing in the 4th slot. Does not come with the car charger for those wanting this option making finding a compatible charger a real challenge. Either provide the optional cord or don't include this option. Only charges at up to 800mAh.Suggested Improvements: Include car charging cord; increase amount of charging mAh; Rewrite the instructions to be worded better and use larger print. Conclusion: This is an outstanding product that I would highly recommend for the average user. Those who are heavy users of lithium batteries off various sizes and more experienced may find it to be too basic, and be irritated but some limitations. This is the exception, not the rule. The average person is going to love this product once they are comfortable with the instructions.

I love it, much better than my old one
I've been wanting a new battery charger for over a year now and just never got a replacement. My old charger was one from nitecore and I had planned to just buy another one of those but I ended up getting this instead. This can charge 4 18650s at 1.5A or 8 at 0.8A, where my old one could only charge at 0.75A for 2 and 0.75A for 4. I really like that it shows the charge, voltage, and charging current for each battery individually. I also like that I can charge multiple types and sizes of batteries at the same time. I use li-ion batteries for my flashlights and a few other things and I use EBL Ni-MH batteries(which are great btw) for everything else like controllers and headsets and it's nice to be able to charge everything at the same time. No only is the usability of this charger great, but the build quality is great as well, It feels solid and I can't hear things rattling around like I can with my nitecore. Definitely worth it and I would buy again.

My new GoTo charger for all my batteries. 18650, 14500 and of course AA NiMh Best charger I have owned.
Simple to use. I replaced an old charger that was only used for NiMh AA batteries for camera equipment like flash etc. Even on the low and slow charge the batteries were pretty warm and generally took all night to charge depending on level of discharge. I had 8 fully charged AA Sony NiMh batteries ready to go but thought I would just check them in this charger. This charger showed that one was nowhere near the mAh like the others. I decided to try slot for to discharge and recharge and it brought the battery much closer to specs. This charger works very well. It is super simple if you just let it do the auto analysis and take over. It takes some time to charge up batteries which is a good thing since it never gets the batteries heated up.Display shows charge time for each individual battery, mAh rating of each battery. Buttons control the slot you want to look at in sequence and the other lets you do some manual control.

Solid, Well Built and Nice Looking
Love all the "bells and whistles" letting you know what's going on. It was sometimes a little tricky getting the batteries properly seated, and the instructions suffered from some translation deficiency. All in all, though, I like it a lot.

Professional level quality, consumer pricing
I was immediately impressed by the quality of the charger. Everything about it exudes quality, and I found that quite amazing for the price. Feels like this device should have had a $150 price tag. Also love the fact that there’s just a power cable and NO wall wart! THANK YOU!Selecting the battery type and charging modes are a little finiky and I can’t say I like the confusing single-button mode selection. On a quality product like this I expected the mode selection to be a lot more intuitive. Please add a dedicated buttons. Still, a quick review of the operating manual explains the operating modes quite well. Still, nothing beats an intuitive product that don’t require a manual.
