I like how little the size of the slices and it's really heavy duty very sharp

I received a bag of extra large 4" fuji apples and my old slicer couldn't do the job. In fact, the plastic handle snapped off midway through cutting. I went on a search for an all metal, extra large slicer that could do more than the standard 8 slices. This one seemed to be exactly what I wanted. I have used it around 10 times on the 4" apples and it has only snagged a couple of times due to the apple not being symmetrically shaped. I do have to apply a significant amount of force after 1/2 way through but I do believe this gadget will handle a normal size apple with ease. I am pleased with the sharpness of the blades and the sturdiness. I like that I can get smaller wedges of apples but they are not too thin.

This makes cutting apples for my kid a lot easier. However it didn’t take long to show signs of rust. It feels quality but I’m not sure how long it will last!

Works great. No waste

If you slice a lot of apples for smoothies or salads this is the way to go. Just line it up on top of the apple and press down firmly. You get perfect slices in about 1 or 2 seconds. Note that a few drops of juice will squirt up as you cut into the apple. But that’s a small price to pay for the convenience of using this device.
