Works perfectly!!
Great stuff. I've used it on rusty bolts and rusty mufflers. Removes rust completely. You do need to rinse and then dry item after soaking overnight. People saying it leaves residues because they didn't rinse and dry. Some people saying leaves some rust. Yes, but did they use a brass or wire brush? Probably not because if they did the rust would be gone. If there is rust left after soaking use a brush or pick or anything and it will wash away. It does smell horrible so always use outside and never indoors! It works plain and simple. Also it may darken some metal. I don't care as it is then ready for paint. Or just leave it blackened whi h looks nice.

GOOD STUFF
BETTER THAN OTHER BRANDS

Works
Works as advertised. Probably doesn't work as fast or as good as some of the more expensive products out there, but with a couple extra coats it does the job just as well. Has a watery consistency, a little bit goes a long way. I've used other way more expensive products that did the job with the first coat, but for the price and how far 32 oz. goes, I didn't mind having to do a couple extra coats.

Great product - very satisfied
This stuff does exactly what it says it will do! Just brush it on rusty spots, let it dry and it's primed and ready to paint the next day. Us this before the rust eats its way all the way through the metal. Easy to use.

Great product!
Works very well. It will remove paint and skin if your not careful. Follow the label and use caution. Cuts through rust and dries clear.

WORKS FINE.
Works as advertised. There are much more expensive options similar to this product that probably do this rust conversion a little better? But this product does work just fine ,and the price is good. Don't judge it until you let it sit overnight after applying a liberal amount from a mist pumper spray bottle.

Incredible!!
This stuff works like a charm and is odorless and biodegradable. Applies with a simple paint brush and any rust is rendered inert as soon as it's applied. Incredible!!

Probably an ok product but not the results I was expecting
Was hoping to find a lower cost product that works like the Eastwood brand of rust converter. The Eastwood brand can be applied to rusted and bare metal and leaves a smooth black finish that appears more like a black oxide stain than the black coating that this product seems to create. It also didn't work as well on bare metal.I am using it on cleaned black iron pipe. The Eastwood product goes on very thinly and the initial dry period is quick though it still takes a good 24 hours or so to fully work its magic. There is no buildup which is important in the threads and other machined areas. The Krud Kutter actually left a thick layer of what I can only describe as some type of elastomeric coating. It created a lot of build up in the threads making assy all but impossible there. In a machined area, it made assy equally difficult with another part.I have ended up stripping all the finish off best I could and will clean and reapply the Eastwood product to get the finish I need. I'm sure this product would work for certain applications but be aware that it can cause dimensional changes in the part and I would not recommend it for threads.
