I ordered the DogLemi Cat Recovery Suit the day before her spay. I know the rear end picture is not pretty; however, that is what I wanted to know and could not find before ordering. Please notice her tail is up and in the happy position. I can confirm she is comfortable in the suit.For reference, she is four months old and weights 4.5 pounds. Based on the sizing chart, the X-Small is what I ordered, and it fits well, maybe a little large. I'm sure a larger cat could use this as well. I tried a soft e-collar that we borrowed while waiting for the suit to be delivered. She went crazy trying to get it off! It was like she was being punished and was going to hurt herself. We took it off and kept a close eye on her until the suit arrived.When we first put the suit on her the day of her surgery, she at first flopped like a fish and then pulled herself across the floor with her front legs. Within 30 minutes, she walked much like a kitten learning to walk. An hour later, she was walking normally. She never tried to get to the incision while wearing the suit. We ordered a second suit after knowing this one fit so well, and just in case this one gets dirty and needs to be washed. I took the suit off the day after surgery to give her a chance to clean. In less than 15 minutes, she was licking the incision. The suit went back on, and she did not even think about the incision.This is the second day, and she has done #1 and #2 with nothing getting on the suit. Happy ME!!!I would definitely recommend this Recovery Suit. I would use the same process again, Order one suit and make sure it fits. Then order the second suit.I ordered the 2nd suit from another company and will post this exact review on their reviews. It is the same DogLemi Cat Recovery Suit.Revised Review:We had to put a baby's diaper safety pin between the two velcro attachments to keep her from escaping the suit. See the picture. Easy Enough!We still give it 5 starsWe plan to donate the suits to an animal rescue organization when we she is healed. They will put them to good use many many times.I hope this helps everyone that is going to spay their cat.

I saw in the photos on the ordering page that the neck area was covered so that's why I ordered this recovery suit for cat, but it would not stay up high enough to cover his wound on his neck, so I wasted my time and money. He still was scratching his wound and it never heals. I will have to bandage it daily.

I got this because every so often my cat gets some kind of allergic reaction to Lord knows what and she gets sores all over her neck and the base of her tail which she will NOT stop scratching. I was hoping this onesie would work for her but alas it was too small (yes I measured twice!) and it did not quite cover the areas needed. That being said, this would be a great idea after surgery on the tummy area or some other issues. Very nice quality at a much more reasonable price than you would find at a vet or pet store. The measurement chart was no help in my opinion. I did return this item because it not fit the specific needs of my cat at this time but if i ever get another cat that has to get fixed in the future I will buy one of these in the correct size.

Good idea and would work great if I got the right size. Was thinking to get true size of my cat by weight. Should have gotten a size smaller so she couldn’t wiggle her way out of it.A zipper on the back would be nice instead of the Velcro wrap around.Still better than an Ecollar/cone.

After rejecting multiple cone solutions and homemade baby onesie designs this is the only suit that my kitten would leave on. It fit her well (3.14 lbs) and was semi comfortable. She didnt really love the velcro on the legs as it was a little rough on the edges and dug in a little bit but overall this product did what it intended to do and she was able to heal well from her surgery.

Very comfortable and soft. She used the litter box with it on no problem. She couldn’t take it off. I think the sizes run small.The only issue was that the suit kept her from extending her back legs so she couldn’t jump up which I guess it was okay since she’s not supposed to be jumping until she’s healed.

I based my purchase of the size I got (medium) on the weight chart - my cat weighs 18 pounds. I needed something to cover her incision which as about 11". When I received it, I put it on, but it was about 6" too long for her - more sized for a medium sized dog. And the velcro closings were huge - and not that adjustable. I tried to pin it to pull in the extra fabric, but then she never would have been able to use the litter box. Even if it was the right length, she would not have been able to use the litter box. The design and sizing of this needs to go back to the drawing board.

My cat was able to get out of this in no time at all.
