Another great book by Bob Rotella. It may be the most unique.
I've studied the golf game and swing for a while. In the last four years I've ranged from a 1.5 handicap to a 7 to give you some perspective. I've been able to get into the single digits by practicing with a purpose and studying books like this one. I don't have as much time to practice as the guys I play with so I maximize my efforts reading books like this. This book does NOT require you to go out and practiced a lot more. It would not have been much value to me if that was the case. I don't have time. Rotella's perspective on putting is much different than what I was doing. I can honestly say this book has saved me a few strokes. When having a tough day with the swing, my putting is the great equalizer!

Great Read
Great read! I am a low single digit and was looking for something to help with my putting. I am always skeptical of the "quick fix" but a PGA friend of mine said it's the best book he ever read. I have implemented several things discussed and have noticed significant improvement in my putting consistency. Highly recommended.

Starts off slow but picks up.
I was recommended to read this by a friend to ease my mind on the golf course. The book starts off a bit slow, but it’s an easy ready and walks you through some of the best golfers minds, and how the teacher teaches his theory. I’d recommend the book, but get through the couple chapters and it definitely picks up.

So simple, so effective
Very quick read, took me a a few days. Transformed my putting literally overnight.Basic premise is that putting is not related to technique. A lot of golfers, including myself, get down rabbit holes of all of the things they are supposed to do. All of these thoughts end up being harmful. If I was a good person, I would suggest it to my golf buddies …. For now, the look on their face as I drain putts is priceless.

It’s practically magic
How can a book make you putt better? Technique? No. Not that. It teaches a mindset. I read this book and went out without any practice and putted better. More focused. More confident and more relaxed. It helped me. I don’t even know how exactly, but somehow it took the pressure off and helped me to trust my line and commit to my stroke. To trust it. And it resulted in way better putting. I wasn’t lagging it to avoid a 3 putt, I was quickly assessing the putt and then standing over it and swinging a confident stroke unconcerned with the result. My success was in a good swing, not if the ball went in the hole and as a result of that mindset I actually holed more putts and my lags ended up closer because I was trying to hole them, not just get them close.

Unbelievable!!! Helped me more than any lesson or other golf book.
As an avid golfer and 12 HCP(on its way down!), I have always struggled with putting. I'm a pretty good ball striker. But, putting would always destroy rounds of golf for me. I have read many books on putting including Dave Pelz Putting Bible, Short game bible, Dave Stocktons Putt to Win, and others. I own Mickelsons Secrets of the Short Game and recorded countless episodes of the Golf channel shows. I have taken lessons by reputable and expensive PGA professionals. Ive practiced until I couldn't stand it. All of it only clouded my mind. Its absolutely amazing how this book took me from lost to the best putter in my group of golf buddies. If you have worked on your putting stroke without any noticeable improvement, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this book!! It will save you stokes and hundreds of dollars on lessons that may not even help.Read the book and practice its teachings. It WILL make you a better putter.

Great read
Loved this book (and Golf is Not a Game of Perfect). Fixed my mechanical approach to putting and made putting more fun!

Lots of good stuff here
Lots of good stuff here. However, I did not appreciate some of his digs that are pointed at science based putting. He doesn't name names, but I felt he could be referring to Aimpoint and Dave Pelz. I feel golfers need help in learning to read greens and to know what putting mechanics work for the majority of golfers. This book won't help you with that. After you get that instruction elsewhere, Dr. Rotella's book can help you learn the mental routine needed to execute on the course.
