Excellent value for the price.
Great little radio with good sound clarity and generally accurate tuning. I use it almost daily. Recharging takes alittle over an hour. The earphones provided usually last a few months before I have to replace them. Excellent value for the price!

Unlock Keyboard First Thing
The instruction sheet did not start with instructions to check for keyboard lock ON [the little key which flashes when the Power button is pressed] - before trying to begin operation of the radio and how to unlock. (If it is there - I cannot find it.)But gratefully that method was found by chance in another review.R.Sneed - "It took me awhile to realize that the key pad is locked and that you need to use the small button with a padlock logo before you do anything!"Once accomplished - I could not be happier with my "Little Blue Radio".I use it mainly at church on their FM during-service frequency, due to my hearing loss and poor building acoustics. So good. I can hear folks like I am "sitting in their laps".The volume is adequate for my needs.Recommend trying the ear buds with the white tips first. The ones that one must cover with supplied black foam covers are not worth the effort to apply, much less use.The first radio was totally inoperative, even after unlocking but was quickly replaced.

It took time to learn the controls.
Use: Personal. This took time to learn the controls even with the instructions. However it does work and works well.

DONT BUY!!
CAME BROKE. Doesn’t work and company never let me refund it. Sound is broke, lightweight as told but horrible. It’s smaller than the pictures and was hoping it would be better since it was for a costume.

SoSo. good sound and light weight
Let me share the good points first.- great sound- small, lightweight- great reception- it is AM+FM, which is not easily found these days - some of us are about music and mind. The rest of my thoughts on this little radio.I really wanted to love this enough to get a second one and one for a family member. It arrived looking as though it was already used, yet it was new according to the purchase info. I'm pretty sure. It was half charged. When I chose it I didn't realise it is an internal bat that gets recharged via the usb, as many moder devices do. That kind of was a let down. It doesn't charge enough or quickly imo. Then there is supposed to be a favorites setting. My hubby was able to set my AMstations up but the FM he couldn't get them for me. So my hands are not great, I have to scan for the FM choices and lose them everytime. The last let down is the lock feature isn't a slide type lock. It's a push down button. If you are an active person it will release unbeknownst to you. For me not only does this happen but also the power button gets hit 'off'. I hear silence, look down and see what has happened.

Nice small size, inexpensive, good reception but long term quality issues
Nice small size, inexpensive, and AM/FM outdoor reception good about 40 miles from NYC, but long term quality issues.Used daily for lunchtime walk. After 1 year the headphones stopped working (poor strain relief inside the earbud) and the display developed missing / dim segments. After 2 years and 4 months the rechargable battery will no longer hold a charge and basically now is not usable. You get what you pay for.
