MacallyFull Size USB Keyboard and Optical USB Mouse Combo for Mac

My wireless keyboard and mouse would randomly quit working and as we all know it’s hard to find electronics capable with apple products…. Well this one works perfectly with my iMac … I do have an older model iMac so I can’t attest to it working with the newer stuff…. It’s always good to go back to ole fashioned stuff…. It’s a good buy and reasonable priced …. I recommend it

This keyboard arrived well packaged in less than 24 hrs. I am impressed. I was looking for a replacement for an old apple mac keyboard I had since the 90's. I had a spilling accident and found this one. I plugged it in today and it's just like riding a bike. Keys are a little shorter, but faster and all short cuts etc. work the same way. Only big difference is I can't plug mouse into keyboard like the old one. I like my current mouse so I'm using that and keeping the one that came with as a backup. I am also planning to order another one of these keyboards as a backup. I've looked before and found nothing comparable and this one fits the bill. It's much lighter, but has kick stands to angle for same feel. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought this to replace a chordless Logitech keyboard with flatter keys, which it seems that I prefer. I needed a replacement because one of the keys stopped working, and I was unable to fix it. And here is where I must change my first review. Initially the keyboard was fine. But then I noticed it was getting hard to read the keys and sure enough, the numbers and letters were rubbing off. I have pretty good finger memory but still, faded numbers and letters and some that are simply gone is not acceptable. And really, I bought this on June 1 of 23, and it's now the end of August, so it's only two months old. I wouldn't recommend this keyboard unless it's for emergency backup.Edited to add: Macally has sent me a replacement keyboard. It's the same keyboard, but I was told that the problem with letters rubbing off has not been a problem on these newer models. So I'm giving it another try. Macally warranty support was easy to work with and that counts. So I'm giving them four stars instead of the one I had originally given this keyboard. I'll keep the other for backup. Hopefully, the rubbing off issue is resolved.

The only feature it doesn't have that my old one had is the USB ports. My old Macally had 2 but my keys were worn out having written 60 books on it. It's lighter than my old one, but that might be because of the lack of ports. But it works fine. It's a keeper. I think I returned two or three previously. It's like we seniors say all the time: They don't make things like they used it. I bought a USB C Hub Multiport USB C Adapter so I don't need the USB ports on the keyboard. So I finally found one that is exactly like my old one except for the USB ports.

The keyboard is fine, feels ok, but the function key is completely in the wrong spot for anyone expecting a MAC keyboard layout. I will give it to 'Good Will' since I don't want the hassle of returning it.

This keyboard replaced my other. I had one without the number pad at the right and really missed that option. Then I replaced it with an old one that was not an Apple specific one. No matter what I did with it I had to unplug and replug it in every time I wanted to use it. A real pain - so I am loving the ease at which I plugged this one in and it was immediately ready to go with not issues, very compatible with my MAC. Easy to use and I love it. It works great, it is just taking some getting used to as the keys seem slightly larger than most others.
