Prime-Line L 5770 Mill Finish, Screen Hanger and Latch (1 Set)

We have old windows and old-fashioned screens (from 1980) so I needed these to put and hold screens in place. These are like the ones that were originally used. Good quality, easy to use and they work perfectly. I recommend it for DIYers : ))

It was a easy installation (2 screws) and they work great with my windows screens.

Our house came with a set of screens that were apparently for the "old windows" so they were too big.Instead of buying new screens we used this a long with some other items to resize the screens. Saved us money and now all six basement windows open with screens!

Not really the products fault, but it was too small for my window screen. I was able to bend it with pliers to do what I needed. Just check the width before you buy so you don't make my mistake.

Same product you’ll find at big box just cheaper. I needed the upper guide to replace a broken one. It’s a bit tricky to install but works perfectly.

Was able to install aluminum screens with some plastic over them just before all the crazy storms hit California. Worked perfectly in holding screens in place. Make sure to install the nub that goes on the bottom window sill that allows you to lock the screen in place or strong wind will probably blow screen off if it's covered in plastic😉

Came relatively quickly. Metal very flexible. I moved it too much. It snapped. User error, but be aware.

Believe it or not, when I went to a hardware store, they didn’t know what these were! Luckily I found them here. We had a screen that kept blowing off when the winds picked up. These attach to the frame of the screen and the frame of the window for super easy installation. These came within a day which was a day earlier than expected.
