A need for uart
If you you use Arduino, platformio or esphome you need one of these. It has by far the best quality of any uart device I've ever had. Always connects to and flashes the chips I use. Just make sure to connect tx from device to rx on board and rx from device to tx on board "tx-rx, rx-tx" ground to ground and power then flash away.

Works great with JTAG devices
Device helped save my failing NAS. Works with Windows 11. Did have to exchange the item once as for some reason the first one I got was not detecting at all once plugged into USB.
