Edifier R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers - 2.0 Active Near Field Monitors - Studio Monitor Speaker - Wooden Enclosure - 42 Watts RMS

As someone who isn't particularly in to their sound systems, I was unsure which speakers to buy for my PC set up.I ended up looking on Amazon reviews and Reddit. Eventually I decided on the Edifiers and I'm very happy with the quality of them.The wood grain and silver look fits really well with a more earthy design which is what I was going for.The sound quality is great even up to high volumes, which I tend not to reach anyway.If you're looking for a budget speaker that ticks all the boxes for a beginner then these are the ones for you.

These are so good I bought another set for an electronic drum kit!I bought the first set of these speakers in June 2024 (original review below) and recently tested them on an Alesis Nitro Max drum kit, and they're superb for it indoors. Sound is clear, rich, punchy and gives the drums a proper full sound of the drums and cymbals it's emulating. It sounds excellent.I'm seriously impressed with these speakers given the price (this second set I bought again cost under a hundred quid) and quality of not just the construction but the sound too.Original review;I got these while they were listed at £99.99 with free delivery, and wow they're spot on!Easy enough to set up, and comes with a bunch of leads and cables to help get started. Also has remote for the volume, and has bass & treble controls on the side as well as a volume knob.We got them to enable our record deck to give its best, and crikey it worked! Sound quality is rich, full, from bass to treble, punchy and our vinyl hasn't sounded as good for years! Seriously impressed with the size, cost and sound of these little beauties.Overall very impressed indeed, they fill the room (indeed the house!) with rich, deep, clear music. I'm almost lost for words given the less-than-a-hundred-quid pricetag!

I don,t often give reviews but for once a bargain that got me excited.I bought these Edified Speakers for £99 on prime.Now for the review.1.Easy set up.2.The Sound quality for a bookshelf speaker is exceptional with Treble and Bass adjusters to suit even an audophile like me with a deep bass sound.3.The look is top Drawer I bought the light wood effect which sets of my Audio Technica Turntable.Vinyl sounds amazing through these speakers if your a Vinyl enthusiast.4.Remote control only offers Volume Control but operates from a good range if needed.5.The rear of L speaker has the ports for speaker to speaker wiring,Two sets of RAC Ports Inc Auxiliary for Pc which I have connected through to my laptop which is a great bonus..5.This is only my opinion of these Speakers which only matters to me but for a very affordable price I don,t think these can be beaten for all round quality.

These Edifier R1280T speakers are made well for the price and are much sturdier than I was expecting. They sound good, filling a small flat with lots to spare, but they are quite bassy even with the bass turned right down, maybe too much so for some people.Once equalized though they sound great.Recommended for people who like poppy warbles or bassless necro Black Metal.

Phenomenal sound quality for what they cost - no complaints all. They look great, didn't cost a fortune, and overall offer super simple connectivity to devices.

Needed to upgrade my Creative Gigaworks T20 PC speakers and boy did I make the right choice. Build is absolutely superb, dead easy to set up and look gorgeous - love the little remote too. With volume, bass and treble controls conveniently placed on the side of right speaker, the Edifier's bass response is deep and warm and the sound is spatial with excellent clarity. Judging by the price point for what are just-above budget-priced PC speakers, it would be hard to find anything superior to these.

Ordered these to go with my new record player and am really pleased with them.The sound is great; a nice warm tone and decent base sound!A good price and they look nice too!I'd highly recommend them.

Oh my god. I literally can't express how much I love these speakers it may not have bluetooth connectivity but the bass on these speakers HIT hard especially for how small and cheap they are its insane if you want to listen to music with bass these are the speakers for you but if you listen to metal these speakers aren't for you but I listen to bass heavy songs so I absolutely LOVE these speakers.
