Actually, this did meet my expectations. After much frustration, it was what was needed to make my three computer, two monitor KVM switch work. With no help from any other vendor, it dawned on me to give it a try. Plugged it in, and second monitor came right on. Appreciate that works and the quick delivery from the vendor.

Good quality. Bought A new PC with Display ports and had to convert HDMI. I paired it with an IVANKI HDMI chord. Works great!

I bought this to connect an older GPU to a 4K TV using the DisplayPort output so I could get 60hz 4K and it works great. Good build quality and the short cable in between gives some flexibility in positioning.

Bought a decent PC refurbished to save some money...I wanted power just not gaming PC levels of power. But one of the caveats of doing this meant I was getting good specs but a lot of the hardware components were outdated. So when I bought a new 4K monitor, I had the unfortunate realization that my PC only has HDMI 1.4 ports on it...which don't support 4K/60hz (only 4K/30hz). But my PC does have Display Port 2.0 which does support 4K/60. Come to find out, the new monitor doesn't have DP though only HDMI 2.0...so that's where this little device comes into play.The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because...while it works. It gives me 4K/60hz like I wanted. If you so much as touch this thing with the slightest of taps, it bugs out. The monitor will black out from time to time, I'll get this multicolored pixilation in images and my screen will do weird artifacting where it like jumps from side to side every now and then. And simply getting up and unplugging and plugging it back in isn't that simple because a lot of time you have to do it several times before it's all perfect again. On top of that it causes my monitor not to come on automatically when I turn my PC on (it's supposed to go into sleep mode when I shut down at night, but a lot of times in the morning I have to manually turn the monitor back on).So it WORKS, it's a nice metal build quality and it looks good. But it has some touchy issues with it that can make it a headache sometimes. It also gets hot to the touch after prolonged use, which can be worrying sometimes.

Works as expected.

I got this in order to connect a second monitor to my laptop dock, which only has 1 HDMI port but two DP ports. Unfortunately after a few minutes, the display starts jumping side to side on the monitor in a strange glitch. Unplugging and repluggibg fixed it for a time, but it kept happening. I tried it with a different monitor and different cables and had the same issue.

So I just bought a brand new desk top computer. This is the first time I purchased a computer with display ports. I use two monitors, so I did not want to invest in replacing two monitors. These adapters do exactly what is expected, and I've had no issues with them. I'm able to use my existing monitors with my new computer.
