Miracle Formula!
Our Great Granddaughter was born prematurely at 1 1/2 pounds. She was released from NICU at 4 1/2 months of age. She was constantly being sent back to the hospital because of gagging, retching and throwing up to the point of screaming. This formula was advised for her at the age of one year. She has had no further problems since on this formula for the past two months! Praise the Lord!

Be aware
Be prepared to spend money you can’t return. My daughter is now sick due to this formula being spoiled. It’s chunky and stinks

Its came in early
I used this product because my sons doctor recommended it. He's not eating food at all so this was the only way he could get the nutrients he needed.

Could Be A Lifesaver
At nearly five bucks a bottle, this is a pricy drink. But Pediasure's Peptide is intended to address a specialized problem, namely children ages 1-13 with gastrointestinal issues. It is gentle on the digestive system with the protein partially broken down and prebiotics present. For severe cases, it can be used as a sole source of nutrition, but it is probably best as a supplemental meal or snack.I'm fortunate that no one in my home has such issues. Based on my observations alone, I feel I can recommend Peptide. It has a pleasant creamy vanilla flavor and is soothing on the palate. It has no real aftertaste but it is reminiscent of other mass-market meal shakes. When drunk on an empty stomach, there is no upset or discomfort. The lactose-free and non-GMO ingredient list is comprehensive and it looks like it would be an acceptable meal replacement if the situation called for it. Obviously it is highly processed and consuming natural whole foods is ideal, but sometimes situations don't allow for that and that's where Peptide could be a lifesaver.~ Kort

Where's The Nutrition?
I'm not a nutritionist... Just a concerned parent... But it seems to me that at over $6 per bottle, there should be a way to make this more nutritious than just using canola oil, whey protein and sugar, to name a few ingredients. There are no fruits or vegetables in this that I can see. I'd just love to see a complete nutrition drink actually contain real nutrition and not just empty fats and carbs. Flavor wise it's pretty delicious. My daughter chugs it with no complaint, so that's a plus. I just wish it had more actual food based nutrition.
