Rust-Oleum 223524-6PK Stops Rust Multi-Color Textured Spray Paint, 12 oz, Desert Bisque, 6 Pack, Beige

first time using this paint . it will always be first on my "to use again" on my projects . What a great product , i needed to recreate iron rust on a 2025 fair entry ,it looks just so real it's hard not to believe it's not real rust . Model or artists looking for a rust finish this is it . it does add a little to surface so allow for texture build up .

Needed brown spray paint for my plastic tiki statues and loved it. It gives them a textured look and feel. I will be detailing them with an acrylic paint kit I bought from amazon. I will post pics of the finished product when I review the paint kit.

I had used another brand of textured paint on a bench and loved it. (See picture 1) Unfortunately, that company, which was also less expensive, no longer sells the product. So I bought the 6-pack of Rustoleum, fully expecting it to cover 6 kitchen chairs. The coverage was nowhere near as good. I had cleaned and sanded my chairs. I guess I should have primed them in a similar color and then topped them off with this spray paint. I am so disappointed. My bench had intricate designs and it took 1 can to fully cover it with the other brand. I have used two cans of Rustoleum on a chair, and it looks like it needs 2 more! At this rate, I should have just bought new chairs! I went to Home Depot and bought a gallon of paint and some clean sand to add to it. The pro there told me he had done this before and it worked well. So I guess that’s what I’ll do for the remaining chairs, plus I’ll have to figure out how to redo this one. It’s frustrating. Now I have 4 cans of spray paint I won’t use for this project. Perhaps I’ll be able to find another use.

Great product

The media could not be loaded. So I had purchased a $5 pumpkin that held candy , a few years back and was going to get rid of it .until I had a brilliant idea to spray paint it.It came out great! Color was spot on .It didn’t dry as quick so It took longer than I thought. It definitely feels like sand with the paint but the adhesion is amazing . Does not leave bits of its self like glitter would. It did take the whole can . So if you’re planning on using it on bigger items I would purchase more than 1 can.

Super STRONG paint for touching up your chairs with an added patina, or spray over for a solid look.I used it on my faded brown toned chairs for a patina look and love it!

Loved the color and texture, but one can hardly covers anything. It’s a very thick paint, understandably as it’s textured, but it took way to much to even finish the flower pot I was trying to paint. Had to use some of my other paint that was similar color to finish. I have spray painted my backyard flower pots every couple years for many many years to change up the color scheme so I know what I am doing. Love this brand and is always the only one I use.

Beautiful textured finish. Very impressed. Easy to apply as long as you don’t spray on too much at a time. Take your time with equal coats.However, these cans contain less paint then you would think although they weigh the same as a regular spray paint can. Get extra for your project. Our chairs took just over two cans each, but well worth it.
