Diverter for Leveluk SD 501 Water Machine
This metal diverter was perfect for my high arch - two handle kitchen faucet. The diverter was for my Leveluk SD501 Water Filter Machine. Before you purchase one for your faucet, make sure you know the sprout measurement. Mine was one-half inch. So, the description showed 1/2 inch. Also, with the faucet sprout make sure you know if it screws on, mine is female or if you need a diverter that is the male version that screws onto the sprout. Most faucets will let you know. Please review my pictures. Lastly, the hose attachment was secured with a metal clamp, that I purchased for $3 - $4 at local auto parts store. Some hardware stores may also carry the clamps.I had a plastic diverter before and it still worked, but the ring that attached to faucet had a slight crack in it. So, that's why I decided to try a metal diverter this time. I hope my notes help other water filter owners.

Decent quality and design
Good quality. Mostly metal except for the aerator section which is chrome colored plastic. The washers that came with it were not compatible (thickness) with my particular faucet so you may need an assortment on hand to achieve the required seal to prevent blow by. Initially, I had a difficult time breaking loose the lever mechanism without feeling like I was going to break it. Like it was seized into place. Some hot water helped. After having this installed for a month+, the only complaint I have is that every now and then when I bump the lever while doing dishes, the lever arm comes loose. It doesn't take much in the way of force, either. To tighten, remove the decorative cap on the lever and tighten down the small phillips head screw. Would I buy this again? Yes.Edit (Sept 26,2024)It's been 6+ yrs and still going strong. Decided to update with a time saving hack. Should the handle/lever loosen due to a bump/jarring - make sure water is off, grab lever near pivot point (where screw is located), push inward (slight pressure... no need to go godzilla) while working lever back and forth (open and closed positions) several times. This should tighten screw adequately. This little hack has served me well for 5+ yrs and still haven't had to touch a screw driver to it.

EASY Installation and Works MUCH Better Than The Original Part
This replacement for what came with the water filter I purchased is actually an improvement over the original and gives you a better water flow when not using the water filter. I also got about 10 feet of new hose (made for water and food) from my local hardware store (just to start with everything clean) and it went on the connections at both ends VERY easily. I’m NOT at all very “mechanically-oriented”, so this had to be “drop dead” easy for ME to make it work!I may just get a new one with every replacement water filter cartridge to have EVERYTHING clean (since I’ve got plenty of new, clean hose left over as well), but we’ll have to see when the time comes. It may be possible to adequately clean this diverter, but our water is really bad for leaving deposits behind and also tiny pieces of rock.

This works excellent
This is the second one we purchased. We purchased one years ago for our alkaline machine. Our other one due to moving numerous times looked really old so we purchased a nice new shiny one. Now we have regular spicket water as well as alkaline with a turn of the handle.

Buy something else!
The valve had a small stream leak at the second component union (from the top) immediately after I installed the valve. If the water wasn't turned on to full capacity that leak didn't bother me. It simply shot into the sink and went down the drain. But now, after 3 months the valve leaks worse than the one I replaced. Water squirts out of each of the component interfaces at half the full flow rate and squirts all over the kitchen. Don't buy this junk unless you enjoy mopping your floor and wiping down your counter top and walls.

This one didn't last as long
bought this in Nov 2018, then bought another in June of 2024. Then the little screen fell out. Other than that it still works.
