There are a couple different ways to remove door buddy. One way is to use your hand and twist each plastic part so that the plastic part separates from the adhesive on the surface. Once the plastic is separated from the adhesive you simply take your finger tip and roll the tape upwards into a ball then remove from the surface. If you are unable to twist the parts with your hand you can use a flathead screwdriver, butter knife, dental floss (easiest way), or something that is flat to insert between the plastic part and the adhesive to separate from each other. Once the plastic part is separated from the adhesive just roll the tape into a ball and gently remove

I think it would work fine on a pocket door. It has an adjustable strap And unlike the other review we haven't had a problem with the adhesive that attaches to the doors. It has stopped my 200 pound husband a couple of times!!;-) Hope this helps

Hi, this may be a tricky one. If the cat is bigger than the dog then this may not be able to work. However, we have seen some customers comment when their cat and dog are about the same size that it still works because cats can usually squeeze through smaller spaces than dogs. You can always give it a shot and if it doesn't work you can just return it for a full refund. :)
