Very impressed
I’m very happy with these weights.I bought them to make kimchi with. They come nicely packaged (safe and secure for delivery but also storage). They looks quite pretty. In terms of their use they are a good weight to keep your ferments below the brine level. I have used them in a classic kilner jar as well as a fermentation vessel that i bought from lakeland. They seem to be the right size to fit most vessels.Highly rate these and for quite a good price.

High quality
These are really robust fermentation weights and they're very useful for keeping your ferment within the brine. The one thing I will say against them, though, is that how useful they are depends entirely on the jar you're fermenting with. I like to use a classic 1.5ltr Kilner jar for mine, usually, but the jar was so much wider than the weights they didn't really help to keep things submerged. In another jar I have - a reused coffee jar - they fit perfectly and did the job really well. Just be mindful of what jar you're using.

Good shape for fermenting
The bottom edge is slightly convex so fermentation gasses don't get trapped. Came nicely packaged and their weight easily holds down contents below the liquid level when in use.If anything the stubs for holding could do with a slight lip around the top edge to make them easier to grip with wet fingers.

Great little weights
These fermentation weights fit my kilner jars with a little space around the edge. I made sauerkraut so used a cabbage leaf under the weight to make sure nothing floated up. I don't find them difficult to pick out as some reviews have said. They are easy enough to grip and not really slippy when lifting them out of a jar. I'm glad I bought them.

Not very practical
They're OK but the handle tapers, narrowing towards the top which means you can't lift them out of the pot with your fingers as you can't grip them. You have to lift them out with a fork. Defeats the object of having handles.

Nicely presented
These are nice little weights that work as intended. I use them to make kimchi. They are beautifully presented in a flocked velvet lined box, so would make a nice gift for someone who was into making fermented foods, pickling and preserving.
