Works great.Also, ignore reviewer that said not to do second dose. They don't understand how ick works. Just because you don't see white dots doesn't mean ick is gone.The white spots are not the 'ick' individually themselves - the 'white spots' you see on your fish are shelled over cysts. Encrusted parasites that are feeding off of your fish's skin layer in an 'egg' type form. When these spots 'go away' the 'eggs hatch' and release an exponentially greater amount of non-infectious ick 'babies' that go towards the bottom to develop for 2 or 3 days.So, even when the white spots are gone there could be more ick that are about to hatch. This is why you need the second dose.

We use API products in out tank. We thought this would help our green water problem. As I did help with most of the algae that accumulated from our live plants it did not help with the green water. This worked with our fish, frogs, goldfish, and live plants just fine. Our tank looks prettier with this product keeping the algae at bay!

So I was gone on a vacation and when i got back I noticed all of my fish had clamped fins, were sitting on the bottom and that the filter had been unplugged.. the caretaker didn’t know how to deal with that. So I noticed 2 fish had ich spots, i did a 55% water change the night i got home and the next day a 20% change.. the day after that treatment arrived and i treated the tank. After becoming inactive 3/4 including 2 commons and one fancy perked right up, no longer had clamped fins, they seemed back to normal. The fourth was just sitting never came up from the bottom. And when i gave the second dose after 48 hours he immediately died. I do believe he was just too far to save to begin with. Its pretty easy to use, immediately improved the health within 3/4 of my fish. It turns water blue but then clears up! For the price, id expect more only because i got one use out of it for my tank size.

Cure ich very fast, works well! You need to set up a hospital tank with fake plants because it’s not good to use with real ones or with snails and shrimp.

Only 3 stars.Why? It actually worked on first dose! Also changed water temp to 82 degrees. It cleared the white spots of my harlequin rasbora overnight! Instruction says, after first dose wait 48hrs for the next one. So I did wait. Rasboras, corys, snails and shrimps are all good and seems healthy. Now, after 48hrs I did the 2nd dose... And that's where the issue happened. On the 2nd does it killed one of my rasboras, not the one who was sick but the "healthy" one! Should've never followed the instructions and sticked with just one dose! They were all healthy on the first dose. So to the people buying this, yes it actually works! But make sure to be careful if you're tank really need a second dose. Don't rely on the instructions.PS: if you have shrimp, snails or corys make sure to half dose. I did it, all of them are fine, good and alive.

I love this product. when I noticed my fish had ick, I quickly ordered this and the ick went away within a few days! None of my fish died. The size is perfect if you are someone who has a huge fish tank and needs a lot. I would buy this product again if it is ever needed again. As it says on the bottle be careful because it will turn stuff blue and the water will be blue for a little bit.
