Great for older generation in the shower, easy to install, very sturdy, makes me feel safer when stepping into the shower cubicle. Recommend.

I have 3 of these at the end of my bath where I've put a shower head support and screen.I've been finding it harder to get out of the bath so these allow me to shower safely.They're easy to fit using a template, masking tape and decent masonry drills.

I can't really comment or attest to it being a hand rail as my mum uses it for a hand towel holder not as a hand rail. It seems sturdy enough though.

The screws that come with it are not up to the job. The handle itself is fine, sturdy enough and nicely finished, but the screws provided are not up to the job. 2 out of the first 3 sheared off going into soft wood, using only a hand screwdriver. Replace these with a few pennies worth of decent screws before starting is my advice.

Great rail

This handle has a threaded insert at each end. Two plates are secured to the wall with a centre bolt that secures the handle to the plate. The insert at one end of the handle was secured by three small spot welds. The other insert seemed to have been 'secured' by adhesive. The second insert came loose as I was fitting the handle. Fortunately. Had it failed in use the entire thing would have detached from the wall whilst it was being used by a disabled person. It is cheaply made garbage entire unsuitable for it's purpose and potentially dangerous.

Handle itself is ok, solid enough. The issue comes with the plugs and screws which in my opinion, are incredibly negligenctly bad.You buy a piece of safety equipment to stop you falling out of the shower. You think "oh it includes screws. Surely they wouldn't put incredibly weak and dangerous ones" but then it will pull out of the wall on literally the first use.I wouldn't trust the screws and plugs to hold up a clock let alone a falling human.I'd honestly rather if they didn't include any screws rather than screws that are disgustingly inadequate.Over all If you get some 8mm 60 mm plugs and some 7mm 50mm general purpose/construction screws it's a nice solid handle. But it's the screws and plugs which in my opinion are stupidly dangerous and irresponsible to include in the package.
