Beginning of Life Tests Look Promising
Im rebuilding battery packs for older Porter Cable drills - needed 12 of the 15 cells.Have been careful in forming & charging & discharging these and have run about 8 C-D cycles so far. They are giving close to nameplate capacity when discharged to 1 volt/cell (at 1 amp) using precision instrumentation.I may opt to routinely discharge to 1.2V cell and get 80% of nameplate - though the power tool has no such indicator. These were easily welded with nickel plated strips. This evaluation is at beginning of life.Usage tests in a drill designed for 2 amp-hr cells has not been performed yet.

Cheaper to replace rather than rebuild tool battery pack
The batteries in this pack of 15 NiMH SubC cells seems to be fine for quality. But the cardboard container they are in is inadequate and flimsy. I've ordered two of these and both arrived with failed containers. The second delivery was literally an outer mailer pouch filled with loose batteries and the remnants of the cardboard container in shreds. All they (Tenergy) need to do is put a strip of packing tape around the container to strengthen it.Meanwhile I bought these to rebuild my Porter Cable drill battery packs. However the cost of ONE package of NiMH 3000 mAh cells is the SAME money as buying TWO complete replacement NiMH 4500 mAh battery packs for the drill. But I did it because I wanted to restore the original battery packs for sentimental reasons. I learned that soldering is not really an option, so I then got a little spot welder and nickel strips, etc. While this was a fun and interesting hobby project, it was certainly not cost-effective; not to mention dangerous.

Works
I needed to rebuild a battery for an old cordless, drill/saw system. Since you can no longer get replacements. I use to build batteries from sub-c cells back in the day for R/C racing so found these and poof. My Drill and stuff work again. Not as powerful as newer models today. But they still have some use to them.

Roomba Battery Pack
Used these to rebuild a roomba battery pack, so far they are working great. With so many cheap roomba batteries available and reading about how they just don't last in a lot of cases, I decided to rebuild my own and to know exactly what cells are in the pack.

Best Battery Replacement
I tried 2 other brands that just did not meet the demand for 2 of my Dustbusters battery replacement. Then gave Tenergy Sub C 3000 mah batteries a try to see if they were able to meet those demands. These sub c batteries combined with a mini spot welder became the solution to resolve this issue making past tense and now again enjoying my Dustbuster around the house. So far these batteries have been excellent better than when my Dustbusters were new, because the charge holds twice as long therefore, I'm grateful to have purchased these and now Tenegy batteries are my only choice for quality DIY battery packs.

Fantastic for DeWalt battery rebuilds
These are excellent for rebuilding DeWalt 18v batteries. Feels like the tools have way more power than they ever did with NiCads and the batteries last longer. They do get pretty hot when recharging though... not sure what's up with that... so far no issues though, maybe that is the just the nature of NiMH?

Out of 3000mAh I got 2950mAh
I have a Hobby Charger called iCharger 208B It will charge and discharge and show the Amp hours used. When I discharged at 1A (1C) I got 2950mAh out of 3000mAh advertised.
