Wow, this trowel is so well designed. It's got a tactile ash handle, sturdy stainless steel construction, it's packed with features and the weight is substantial. It's a pleasure to use, and even looks good. It feels like this thing will outlive us all, and still be in regular use a hundred years from now.A great present for the gardener in your life, if they haven't got one already!

Worth every penny
Over the years I've had and broke a few garden towels so decided to do some researchPersonally I prefer bulldog tools as they are bomb proof butGardeners word rate this as thier best hand trowel and I can see whyOk it's a few quid but hopefully a few quid well spentIt feels quite heavy when you first pick it up but it's so well balancedThe handle is long but fits perfectly in your hand and gives a little more leverageIt has a serrated edge and a sharpened edge which cuts straight through the soil in my garden which is clay and I think it will cut through tree roots to when planting inbetween treesThe hammer bit on the end I haven't used yet but I think that's what helps balance itI don't do reviews but I'm so pleased with it I thought I'd share my viewsWould I recommend it yesWill it out last my other garden towels which I'm not particularly gentle with yes
