Product works really well very quick with the code checks, however does not have the led light on the plug as advertised other than that great little piece of kit

TOPDON Code Reader AL400 is the upgrade version of AL200/AL300.This OBD2 scanner comes with variety of OBD2 functions, including reading & erasing DTCs/resetting monitors/live streaming in graphs/viewing freeze frame data, and many more features that would usually be found in an expensive diagnostic tool. I replaced a sensor on my Campervan and used this to delete the DTC. It’s really straight forward to use and you can even use it in the dark due to the light built into the OBD plug. bought this just over 12 months ago . and i have a abs warning light on the dash .but the scanner fails to pick up any codes grr.maybe im unlucky or been given the wrong one .but they are getting very good reviews .i know have have a scanner which is of no use to me and out of warranty

Simple to use at good price aswell

This is good quality and provides lots of information about the car ( A 2012 1.7 litre Diesel Vauxhall Astra). I bought this because I was getting a message to service the car soon, even though it had been serviced recently. Vauxhall wanted a lot of money to just read the code! I bought this and it told me there were no codes stored. I also had this problem with the first one I bought and returned. I took it to my local garage and they diagnosed it as a Glow Plug issue from the code they got. I don't know if this could not read the code because it is specific to Vauxhall or not. I'm assuming that if I had the engine management light lit on the dashboard then maybe it could have read the code. The sellers tried to help by asking me to send a video of what was happening and to let them know which code the garage saw so that they could investigate. Unfortunately, by this time the car was already being repaired at the garage and they could not remember which code they saw!

Great piece of equipment,Engine management light was on and vehicle kept going in limp mode , this found the fault straight away that pinpointed to a split in my Turbo intercooler pipe.Which I also purchased on here and changed myself . saved a fortune of not going to garage , who charge for diagnostic and then part and labour .
