Awesome product but too expensive on Amazon
I use dropps for years now. It is high quality laundry detergent. The smell is great. I have a subscription on the dropps website and had to make a quick buy here on Amazon. I would absolutely give it 5 stars, but I have a problem with the price. It is sold here on Amazon directly from dropps. I pay $21 something for a subscription on their website. Why does it cost $30 here? Well, $27 right now with 10% off. Why not offering it for the same price and safe the cost of logistic, administration and so on? It doesn't make sense to sell it more expensive on Amazon.

Beat my skepticism
TLDR: These are way better than tide pods just not in price but also clean clothes WAY better.I won’t lie, I was kind of being a hater and only got these because I ran out of tide pods and was low on money. As a college student laundry pods just make life a lot easier so I’ve been using tide pods the past 2 years. I wouldn’t say I really liked the tide pods but they worked enough. I never really felt like my clothes were clean after being washed, they always felt waxy even though I wasn’t using ones with fabric softener. When I would clean my clothes sometimes even small stains wouldn’t be taken out but my clothes smelled clean so I just kind of accepted it. When I got these I was shocked at how small they were and I was afraid they wouldn’t work as well but I sure was wrong. I feel like my clothes haven’t been cleaned in those past 2 years now… You can just tell, my clothes are brighter, they don’t feel waxy, I would argue I could actually add in a fabric softener now. Especially for the price I won’t go back to tide pods, these are almost half the price and I would argue work thrice as good as tide pods. I noticed in my dorm washers that sometimes the tide pod would get caught on the door and not get wet enough to dissolve and just partially leak leading me to have to wash them again but I have had no such problems with these.

Cleaner ingredients but leaves residue
Although a cleaner ingredient product, I think efficiency is not great. One load left a residue and the second load shell remained caked on the pants. Unlikely I will buy again. I do like the box is small and space saving.

Getting better at doing my part without sacrificing quality
I, like many of the previous reviewers, really liked the idea of an environmentally responsible laundry detergent. I would have preferred a sample size as a try-before-you-buy rather than forking over nearly $30 for 140 pods that I may or may not like, but so far I am not disappointed with my purchase.Previous reviewers mentioned that the casing of the pod does not dissolve in cold water. I don't wash in any other temperature so I just did what we do with all the pods we've ever purchased and swished it around in the water by hand before adding clothes. The casing was either not dissolving or dissolving VERY slow. Rather than take a chance due to some of the other reviews, after all the detergent had been released from the capsule I pulled the casing and threw it in the garbage. I'm not happy about trying to be eco-smart and then throwing away something that I'm not totally convinced is going to break down, but I did not want to have the issue others have mentioned where the casing glues to their clothing. The smell is very light and clean, not overpowering or perfumed at all. I found it very pleasant and my clothes kept that scent even after drying with nothing but unscented wool dryer balls (also a first time thing). How effective are these at cleaning your clothes? The clothing I washed in my trial load were: 1 set of cycling bib shorts worn for a 20 mile ride, 1 pair of yoga capris worn for a 4 mile walk, 2 quick-drying athletic shirts worn for the above activities, a pair of underwear, and 2 pairs of socks. I live in southern Florida and it is hot and humid so any physical activity can create a lot of moisture and odor. I washed my load on medium load size, tap cold wash, and used the heavily soiled cycle. I used one laundry pod and, as noted above, dissolved it in the water by hand before adding clothes. When the cycle was complete, I did the smell test. The chamois on my bike shorts and the armpits of my shirts smelled fresh with no lingering odors whatsoever. I am VERY impressed.I have not worn any of my clothes yet so I cannot speak in regard to skin irritations or allergic reactions, but I've known people that couldn't use Tide or they broke out in hives (and had no known allergies prior to this) so I would imagine some people may be sensitive to this as well.So far I am very pleased with my purchase and can't wait to try the dishwasher pods (I still haven't convinced my boyfriend that dishwashers are unnecessary lol).
