The Silva Mind Control Method: The Revolutionary Program by the Founder of the World's Most Famous Mind Control Course Paperback – April 19, 2022

Reading other reviews before buying this book made me feel like this book might be difficult to understand and so I also bought a workbook with it.The book is actually easy to read and the first part is all about getting your brain to more of an alpha state with really easy to use exercises, such as counting back from 100 very slowly while gazing your eyes 20 degrees up from rest (laying flat on your back)... this is done for ten days, then the counting is reduced as your brain becomes more comfortable in the Alpha state - for some this comes faster than others.The author recommends reading the entire book first - this can be done in a weekend - then going back to the beginning to do the exercises. I'm simply starting the countdown now as the first couple of times I went back to sleep in the morning trying to count down backwards very slowly from 100.... the book even mentions this might happen and to continue to practice. I'm also continuing to read the book.The next chapters take you a bit further into dynamic meditation. My take on this is that all the other books, like The Secret, and the teachings of speakers, such as "not your guru" Tony Robbins, must have started with some of the teachings from this book. I say this, because the book by Jose Silva goes into visualizing what you want ( and even visualizing where you last had an object in order to find where you lost it). It's a lot like intentional manifestation with better exercises and examples that most of us can relate to (not over the top).I'm continuing to read the book and have also glanced at the workbook (waiting to review it until it's completely finished - but basically it is just the crib notes for the book - and not really needed). My humble opinion is it is better to just buy the book and order the workbook only if you find the Jose Silva book hard to read. *** Update on this review is I returned the workbook!The book is predicated on a 40 + hour course that was taught by Jose silva, and there are references to the course in the book. Honestly, if you have ever meditated or read other books on mind control - this will be very easy for you to follow. It's like going to the source of knowledge that so many other teachers seemed to have learned and "borrowed" from. The examples in this book are really good, and that alone makes it much better than the workbooks.I'd recommend this to anyone who is having issues with unproductive thinking, lack of focus, or feeling overwhelmed by how much needs to get done - the many exercises in this book are easy to follow and a good reminder of some of the things I already have learned and mind opening to new things I have not yet learned.This is one of those books you will open time and time again - so worth it to buy your own copy and annotate it as you see fit. My only regret is that I didn't read this book first before reading so many others - but so often, "when the student it ready, the teacher appears".I really needed this book at this certain time in my life and wholeheartedly recommend it as an aid to having greater focus (and therefore control) over what you want and need in your life.

It’s good book if you are already exercising or interested in mind control, whether spiritual or religious. There are simple exercises to do with words that helps you open up your third eye or reach to you pineal gland ( philosopher stone) so you can meditate and think better .Three finger exercise still helps me find where I misplace my stuff or remember certain things but I need to learn more , dive deeper to achieve success.The downside is the book keep repeating that, the actual classes attended in person ( no location or price charge mentioned) are better and kind of doesn’t go in dept to explain more. It feels like advertisement for actual classes and makes me wonder if I should take them to get full effects .So each chapter has one or few simple mind exercises ( for health , love , simple success); easy to read and understand and apply.

This book is very informative and easy to read. It provides basic tips and information regarding the topic.

Really interesting book! It gives easy steps to relax your mind and focus better. Some parts feel a little out there, but overall it’s super motivating. Great if you’re into personal growth and mindset stuff!

This is my first Amazon review. Ever! I first learned about this book via the Mind Valley channel and Vishen Lakhiani. I've read every personal dev/self-help book out there. I swear, I own them all. This book taught me how to tap into my subconscious mind via the focused/relaxed meditation that Jose Silva teaches. I now know how to reprogram my mind because of this book. I share this book with everyone I know. It took me 10 day to learn because I practiced for the 10 days like the book says. I read it in October of 2021. In Nov 2021, I was offered the most amazing job with the most amazing benefits, off for the summer and all major holidays including spring break, the most kind and amazing co-workers and the highest pay I ever made because I had "programed" this into my mind. My new job even let me take off in Jan 2022 for a vacation to Cancun with my husband. In March of 2022, I manifested my dream Jeep Rubicon. It's exactly what I wanted; from the leather seat colors to the exterior color. The way the deal for my vehicle happened is just amazing! You do have to also remember to surrender to God/Universe and have full faith. Have faith in a fun and relaxed way! Things just keep getting better. The confidence I've learned to program is indescribable. The happiness in my Soul is also indescribable. This book even helps you program "belief" in yourself; something I never felt before! That's the best part ever. I'll update this review later. I'm currently programming something else that I know is going to be amazing.Just remember...it's all meditation. This is the real simplified meditation (some call it prayer). Learn to do some relaxed breathwork also. All of this changes your energy, which changes your vibration, which allows you to be a matching frequency to those amazing things you desire. Remember to desire in Love and Peace; not lack.

I love the Silva premises for expanding our thoughts and how they affect our lives. More focus on the practice itself would be beneficial
