Water seperator.
I live in a humid place and the water condensing inside my compressor was causing problems with my nail guns despite my bleeding it off daily.This is mounted inline and I leave it cracked slightly open so the trapped water is constantly being removed keeping the usable air dry. I don't remember what I paid for it but it was a worthwhile investment.

use this as a secondary moisture trap for my airbrush.
haven't noticed any moisture in it yet but I like the idea of a secondary trap in front of my airbrush. I use the brush in a different room from my 80 gallon air compressor and have a primary moisture trap attached out there. I added a secondary regulator and this moisture trap in the room I spray in for convienance since I often change pressures as I change paint formulas. It all seems to work well and for the little price it's a great protection for you spray equipment

It is made of metal and works
The review that stated it is completely plastic is incorrect. The top section is made of metal. I took the picture after only a few minutes of work. It seems to be doing a great job of separating the water from the air. It has an internal float so it will release the water automatically. Mine had no leaks and i would definitely buy one again.

Leaks from drain valve
Decided to try this out as a faster shipping alternative to the SMC trap. Re plumbed my air ride system and attached the trap to my tank. Tank filled everything was good until I hear a faint whistle. Turns out the plastic knob leaks even on fully closed. There’s no plug included and no way to stop the leak without making the drain function useless. Terrible product

Not heavy duty
The product does a good job, but the relief valve is plastic and it got bumped and has leaked ever since. Still works though.
