I went to a computer repair shop a week ago to have the thermal paste replaced, however, perhaps due to the poor skills of the repairers or the quality of the product they used, this caused my R7-5800H to reach 80 degrees even in standby mode. The fan had to run all the time to cool down the CPU. I had to buy this product and try replacing the thermal paste myself, which worked surprisingly well. Now my laptop is quiet again. It stays at 50 degrees in standby and below 70 degrees when I am running a high load game. Considering the huge amount of heat generated by the R7-5800H, this product has performed well enough. It is very easy to use and the viscosity is appropriate and will not cause you any problems.The MX Cleaner purchased along with it cleans well, but the smell is very unpleasant, much like petrol mixed with chemicals. I think these drawbacks are negligible though as it is far cheaper than some well known products and perhaps performs even better.
