Tastes, smells and is perfect for those who need less or no sugar snack items.
This product tastes great and is perfect for my diabetic husband to bring with him to the movies and indulge a little while at the movies and not feel deprived. It was great tasting and fresh!

BEWARE! First ingredient is Maltitol. Eat slowly & very little, or this is a VERY POWERFUL LAXATIVE.
How is Maltitol not prescribed as a colonoscopy prep medication? It has exactly that effect, plus a sweet taste (better than current prep meds). Just a few of these short and hollow licorice twists as a snack, and you will be spending much of the next 24 hours needing to be near a restroom. The intense stomach gurgling, and powerful diarrhea, is everything I remember from the prep for a colonoscopy. I'd NEVER want to do it recreationally. Bulimics should avoid this, as they MUST have a better way to purge than this.If you take the chance, the strawberry flavor is a bit off, but quite pleasant. I quickly adapted, and enjoyed the flavor. The texture is also quite close to real licorice (though more the Twizzlers sort of thing than real Red Vines). The price in quantity is lower than most sugar-free candies for diabetics. If you can get by with a small piece of one twist every few hours, you may escape the digestive problems. Otherwise, about the only other use I can think of for this product is to deal with a food thief at work. Put some of these licorice twists into a quart zip-lock bag, put them in the break room with a non-employee name on them, and you will soon know who the office food thief is. Be aware they may go to the ER, thinking they've gotten food poisoning, so the prank could escalate further than intended. But if they treat these like ordinary licorice, and have a few twists within a few minutes, their next 24+ hours will be quite uncomfortable.

Not the same flavor as original red vines
Nothing wrong or bad but Strawberry flavor is not the Original Red Vines flavor and I did not realize that.
