Seamless integration with the iMac
I love that the design of this unit means that it blends seamlessly with the design of the iMac. The ports are accessible, without being especially noticeable. I bought a second one for my work computer too.

Great product
Works great, has a lot of storage and looks clean. I wish the connection cord was a little longer, but it works fine

Inateck iMac Hub (Docking Station)
A little confused on this item. I purchased one. It was DOA when I got it and it was packaged up well but looked used. So I ordered a replacement. Kind of like the item, this (hub), due to the extra USB C ports on the back - don't like the fact that it doesn't have that little lip around the edge to keep the monitor from moving around - but I'll Velco the monitor/computer down to it. Second one arrived - similar thing - except this one lighted (lit) up with the LED's for a bit - then went dark. No pass through with any USB accessories etc. So, I got to thinking. Maybe, just maybe it needs that SSD to activate it - make it work. So I ordered a Crucial 2TB SSD from Amazon - be here tomorrow. I'll install the SSD in the bottom and see if it comes to life. If not it will be returned to Amazon. Don't get me wrong. my iMac is a 2023 model in my home office, wife's is a 2022 model in her home office and we have 2 MacBook Pro's, iPads, iPhone's etc. that I tested it on (most of them -iPhone can't power it). Something is off here. I'm not a computer geek or computer hardware tech by any means, but I have a little 15 port hub hooked up to my iMac that works like a champ (bought off Amazon) - so this one can be much different - except less clutter on my desk and an SSD for more memory. Right? This little thing has me stumped. We shall see what the SSD does. If in fact it comes to life afterwards, Amazon and the manufacture needs to indicate the fact that an SSD is required. Tomorrow I'll give an updated review. But for now! 3 stars on the sleek look, and matching my Blue iMac - but it has to work. But for now 3 stars cause it's not quite working. Yet! . And aftertomorrow it doesn't work, it's 1 star and back to Amazon and I'll buy a different one.

Unreliable Storage Connection
I purchased this docking station to use the drive functionality with time machine on a new iMac M3. The dock will not keep the connection to its own internal drive active, probably due to not enough power going to the dock and thus, the drive it contains. Similar to other reviewers, I can get the drive to show up if I unplug the dock and plug it back into the iMac, but that defeats the purpose of having an extra drive available. It is also unreliable when backing up or using he internal drive in any way that puts load on the drive. The dock with just disconnect the drive randomly. I have used more than 1 drive to test teh dock and am currently using a drive that is considered compatible with the dock and have tested my drive in other enclosures, so that is not the issue. I am thinking about returning this for a more reliable option. It is definitely not worth the $90 they are asking as it lacks half the functionality Inatek promises and is not reliable.
