I'm on my second bottle now. I use them when I'm doing Keto to keep my electrolytes up. I've also used them for hangovers! They're really great. I'm the kind of person who does NOT like flavored water. I just like to drink coffee in the morning and plain water in the afternoon. I tried the whole electrolyte water thing, flavored or not, and it's really not for me. So this is a great option, to get my electrolytes in a quick shot and move on with my day. A few of my capsules were broken/dismantled inside the bottle. Only a few though. I do fasts every few weeks and have always felt pretty awful going into them. My friend who also fasts said I needed to find good pills to take to help with my nutrient levels, and I ended up with nutri-align. Mostly because their other products had a ton of good reviews. Am going with this newer formula. While I'm not fasting currently, I'm taking one a day to make sure that my body responds well to it and so far so good! No adverse reactions.

I have a preference for this form of magnesium - magnesium glycinate. And have used all these salts, separately, in separate pills or in liquids.I was curious to test the flavors. So I opened a capsule and gave it a taste. It was fine. Then I dumped the capsule in water (knowing not all would dissolve too quickly in a small volume of room temp water, I’m a lab gal). That being said, I squirted some orange flavor enhancer in it. And it was delicious. Seriously - I liked it better than just the flavor enhancer with it’s gentle sweetener flavor. Not salty. About half a cup. It was like that orange capped drink, without the sugar. A delightful surprise.I have been fasting, and do take salts right away, if I suspect a blah feeling heading my way. I felt fine after. Can’t say it was a miracle cure, or any other health claims. But it seems to be OK. No flavor on just the gel capsule.It is more convenient to have as a pill, I am popping some in my purse for driving out and about. It has all the salts I wanted, and had not noticed before, all in one pill: Potassium, Magnesium, AND Sodium.

On a fast over a couple days, my stomach becomes very sensitive. That is why I usually opt for powdered electrolytes over pills, since the casing can really cause some pain. One of the worst parts is, in my experience, and stomach pain during a fast will basically never heal until I start eating again. Perhaps it is a pH thing. Whatever the case, these pills have not yet caused any problems and make me feel good. I take them with a lot of warm water to help break down the casing. If you are concerned, you could also just dump the contents of the pill into a little water and gulp it down. I do that with the pills that bother my stomach.

I made sure to use this product sparingly at first in case it didn’t work or I had a bad reaction to it. So the first time using this product was after dinner so I could just curb any midnight snack cravings and it worked probably because I was full already. Then I started to try 2 capsules if I missed dinner therefore starting the 16/8 fast while keeping in that 8 hour window. The bottle recommends staying hydrated because these aren’t pure salt but they can make you feel full. I’m very impressed with these and products from this brand.
