Fitomo Ankle Support for Sprained Ankle, Ligament damage, Weak Ankle, Ankle Brace for Men and Women with Removable Stabilizers for Injury Prevention and Recovery, Suitable for Wearing in Shoes

Suffered a sprained ankle last December which has refused to clear up despite x Ray checks, physio therapy and numerous doctors visits. Have tried several types of ankle stretchy supports and wraps and had a nhs short rigid boot for over a month all with negligible improvement. I was at my wits end and it has really impacted my quality of life as I cannot comfortably walk more than a couple of hundred yards, climb stairs, do gardening etc without the ankle swelling and aching for days afterwards. Spotted this FItmo brace which I can actually get my foot into my trainers and walking boots with it on and has two slide in side optional stiffeners in to prevent the ankle rolling and give you support and confidence on uneven ground and took a chance. I have had it on for two hours after arrival my ankle instantly felt more supported and comfortable than it has in months so much so that with a holiday coming up shortly I have today ordered a second one as a back up an as they are small enough to fly with without being bulky and awkward to pack but are unobtrusive to wear and should give me the chance to get out of the accommodation grounds and while pacing myself and not going silly explore the beaches etc of the resort! This ankle brace is fantastic. I've just bought a second one, having previously this and another lace up one to test which was better. This one won hands down. The really important thing is that the laces are elasticated and do up really easily using two velcro tabs (I have reduced dexterity and ordinary laces have proved impossible to lace up), they also make it really easy to adjust for maximum support with maximum comfort. They have additional lateral stiffeners which I found very uncomfortable and didn't need, BUT they are designed to be easily removable. They are not at all bulky and fit easily inside my walking boots.THEY ARE FANTASTIC

Fast delivery, used this to replace the boot type, very lightweight, fairly easy to put on if you can touch your toes. The confidence of knowing the ankle wasn't going to roll over was very comforting.I'm a UK size 8 and I do have a wide foot, so ordered the large, it was still a tight feet hence the 4 star rating.

Purchased this for a weak ankle that likes to give out and roll to the side from time to time, and needed something that gives support to help prevent this when out on walks on uneven ground. After trying several others (cheaper, and more expensive) I found them bulky, or uncomfortable, or inneffective, or all the above! So found this one and gave it a go whilst it was on offer. I wasn't expecting much as it was listed as a high return item.Have found it easy and fast to put on (once you've had a practice), and comfortable. Fits (over my sock) in my walking boot and trainers fine (but do need to loosen the laces a little). Feels a lot more stable than most I've tried, and for it's light weight and small bulk, it feels like it definitely helps to keep the ankle where it should be, and will hopefully, at least, minimise damage if a bad roll happened, mainly due to the rigid side supports.Sizing was great. Remember you need to measure the ankle a particular way to determine size (check the info). My shoe size is 10, and a large was perfect, but need to measure as I don't think it would be right if my ankle was injured and swollen. Price wise, really not bad if it works for you, but if you can get it for around the £20 mark, it's definitely worth a shot. Been great for me.

Daily user, arch has worn out dramatically and is now barely hanging on. Otherwise was good comfort, pain relief, and sturdiness (no risk of rolling). Fit wasn't great on arch/heel (I have a high arch), hence worn down. A size up would be too big.

This has been a godsend for me, I tore my achilles tendon a few months back and have struggled to get around without swelling and discomfort. This product is easy to put on and very comfortable to wear on a daily basis, it gives really good support exactly where I need it and enables me to go about my day without pain.

This product is fantastic and very well made. I am on the final weeks of ankle surgery recovery and this item is a god send.Well made and fits perfectly. I was amazed at how much it reduced pain whilst walking. Also has very good design and is able to fit in all of my shoes.Thanks you

Maybe a few extra soft panels could be added as my injury was across the anklt and the support rubbed.
