Just plug this into the headphone socket of an amplifier and hold down the bluetooth button for two seconds and headphones pair. Easy connection.However i was sold this device on the premise it had a long transmission range, at first it was no better than my ipad but after starting it up a couple of times it was better inside but no different on outside. But this was using bluetooth earbuds. Switching to an excellent closed back headphone, an Audeze Maxwell, clearly the receiver is more powerful, now from on top of a cupboard in the centre of the house, i can hear them in a wooden cabin at the bottom of my garden, 60m away, although at that distance you have to stay still or you temporarily “miss” the signal. So if you want this for increased bluetooth range make sure you have a good quality receiver also. Also place this in the centre of your house and high up, say on top of a tall cupboard it will reach every corner of your house, through up to solid surfaces.Big plus I can bluetooth my ancient hifi/cinema amp and it can use two different headphones, so happy with this purchase.

Excellent transmitter reciever. I have connected this to my 1970's Sony amplifier and now I can transmit my vinyl though this gadget bluetooth to a portable speaker. And, I can recieve music from my phone through Bluetooth through this gadget to my front room speaker. I take the speaker into the garden over 10 meters and it still works...very, very pleased with this item.

The sound quality is clear with no noticeable distortion, and it has excellent range. Also there were no problems with Bluetooth connectivity.

This is a great product with long range. I have used this Bluetooth transmitter connected to a pa system and a disabled person could hear the audio, very well on a bluetooth speaker inside a car over 30 metres away.The unit is plug and play, so very simple and quick to setup and pair.

I love this little device. I use a pair of them to connect my TV with an amplifier and speakers. They were easy to set up and the connection (only a short distance but still) is rock solid. No lag issues at all. I'd recommend without hesitation.

Terrible. Receive works OK but overwhelming static noise on transmit which is much louder than the music. Not sufficiently shielded I would think.

Works well with in 10mt range. Has never dropped connection. Working with both plug in head set & with Bluetooth buds. Can recommend.
