Heavier than expected
These should work fine, but the grip is heavier than I expected and only had one solder joint, so I'm not expecting the top to hang on. But the pin is fine and should work well

These cake testers are fantastic!
These cake testers are great to have a round! Very handy and it’s nice to not have the waist of using skewers or toothpicks to test for Dunnness.

Appear to be much sturdier than other brands tried
Now (these)cake testers appear to be better made/sturdy and not flimsy.I have now tested them. They have not tarnished yet. They arrived in an adtnl cardboard pack to protect them, in a drawer.
