This was my first Freida Mcfadden novel and I loved it.In this novel we follow our narrator Tricia. Tricia and her husband finds their dream house, which was previously owned by Dr. Adrinne. Dr Adrinne has been missing many months ago. Where did she gone or who killed her nobody knows!!While seeing house a sudden snow storm arrives and Tricia discovers many secrets of Dr Adrinne....Highly recommend

For almost 80% of the time I kept on thinking that I have identified the big reveal so early, what is the point of reading it.But Freida has played so well with initials and that is the masterstroke!The twist, you never see it coming and that changes everything. Wonderful book, even if tad slow for a long time. The ending is worth it!

I personally expected more from this book as earlier I read housemaid series. Somewhat the story became predictable after a point and the ending could have been different as they were the murderers still they are living the best life.

Book review :- 4.8 ⭐*clears throat* where should I start from? This is an unputdownable book and I literally completed it in 2 days! This book has me hooked from start to end.And talk about the plot twist(s)...no one will probably guess that (I'm one of them). I had so many guesses of how the plot would be unraveled... But they were all gone wrong.This is a best psychological thriller with the unreliable narrators with a frightening story setting in the remote manor.But I felt bad for that one character. That character was innocent and wanted to seek love, L didn't deserve that 😭(I'm trying not to give spoilers.. those who read the book will understand)After reading the shocking ending... I thought that it would be good if there would be a sequel to this book 🤔 (that would be interesting)What do you guys think?

Loved the language and the character development and also the plot twist. A page turner, Expected a little more towards the end. But overall good book. Looking forward to reading more from Freida McFadden.

Amazing suspense thriller what a twist in the story… a masterpiece indeed

The book is intense to read that allows you tone at the doctors house as soon as you start with the first chapter. After all the reading I do have a question to the author , why does she few common things in her books (The Crash ) pregnancy, snow , a isolated house or a cabin and a car which is stuck in that weather . Does she has anything different from these main plots ?
