Amazing sound wow!Deep sound too, solid bass and treble , balanced well and really good high and low fidelity throughput. If you know what I mean , as a sound engineer , I can truly tell.It can be set to really loud too! Don’t let the size fool you , the speakers are actually fairly large and powerful.So, the CD sound is the best, better than the radio and BT, IMHO.A modern CD -from 2023- (Babymetal, The Other One - in my case is what I tested) sounded absolutely positively phenomenal!Just pop it in, set slider on the side to CD and it will read the correct number of songs on the CD with the number showing in the blue lcd display.Super easy to program the cd playlist too! Repeat or randomize the playlist easily.It all worked and sounded flawless.Also the CD spins quietly.Hey this is some Amazing value here from Magnavox!Also the LED sound effect lights is actually super awesome! There are different settings you can toggle for various lighting effects or you can shut it off completely if you like.Honestly , set to the first setting ,default , I found the lighting pulsed perfectly along to the music!This is so cool.Like I said, Amazing value overall this stereo is a Must Buy, IMHO!

The sound is good! Some reviews stated otherwise, so I took a chance. The sound is actually better than I expected. The CD player works well and the radio tuner is strong. The light display is a nice added feature. I highly recommend, especially for the price.

I ordered this to replace an older model I keep in my office at work. The good: It has great sound and I like the digital tuner as well as the design and location of the knobs. It pulls in a couple of more stations than my old one did. The bad: The cord is shorter than my last one, guessing it's about 4.5 feet long, which is inconvenient because it doesn't quite reach the receptacle so the player hangs off the corner of my desk a little. Also, I replaced the very short antenna with a longer one in order to get better reception. The antenna that it came with was literally only like a foot long. Lastly, and the worst issue I have with it, is the button to turn off the flashing disco lights does not work very well. I almost did not order it due to the lights because I didn't want that distraction while working, but then I saw they can be turned off. Well... I have to push it over 20 times before it finally decides to go dark. Not sure why there wasn't a switch instead of a button for this feature. Overall it's a good player but it's not perfect.

The sound quality from this boombox is impressive, and not just for an inexpensive one. The volume is ample, the range is good, and while I am by no means an expert or audiophile, I am really impressed. The radio tuning and setting of station presets is straightforward and pretty easy.Now, I will say that the flashing lights on the front are 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 bright. That's not my thing and you have to turn them off each time you turn the boombox on, but it's really easy (a button on top), so that's no problem to me. The general display is pretty darned bright too and there's no way to change that but, again, I don't find it be a big deal. Maybe if you use it at night, but otherwise no biggie.I'll also mention that when you turn the unit off the cd player will go back to the beginning of the cd, not the last track played. Now that doesn't bother me at all, it's pretty easy to skip ahead after all. Just thought I'd mention it as a heads up.I've had no issues at all with it, no cd playback problems (even with ones I've burned myself) and no radio reception issues either. I am very happy with this boombox, in fact it's the best one I've had. Could you do better? Probably, but you're going to pay significantly more with no guarantee of sound & function improvement. I have it sitting on the half wall between my living room and the dining room/kitchen, which is a pretty big part of my house and I really couldn't be much happier with it. In fact, I'm going to buy a second one for the garage. I hope this helps and you like yours too fi you buy one!

I bought this for my employees to use in the kitchen. I like colorful things, so the lights on the front seemed pretty cool. I have a lot of my dad's old cds, a lot of Garth Brooks, and I was really looking forward to this item but, alas, most features don't work.The cd player came busted. The radio kind of works but dear lord make sure there aren't any clouds around. The bluetooth works, but the volume is so low that at max volume you can kind of hear something on spotify. The radio can get loud... but not more than my cellphone...The box wasn't beat up. The boombox looks nice. I'm guessing all problems were interior. Would not recommend. You're better off with a 10 dollar speaker from Family Dollar. At least that might work for a few days at an acceptable volume.
