Excellent for plasma cutting, oxy/ acetelyne cutting and anywhere you need shade 5. Very clear no distortion. Excellent wrap around protecting the eyes. The green tint is very clear with zero distortion. I will always have a pair of these in the shop and on my welding rig

Works as they should, for a decent enough price

They're cheap and they work. I've used the 5s for plasma cutting. They're a good shade for that use. They are adjustable length, but they're not the most comfortable option and they do not fit well over glasses.You should wear a full face shield when cutting, especially if you aren't very experienced.These are a good spare/backup option in my opinion.

I bought these because they appeared in a search for “welding glasses over prescription lenses,” and these don’t fit over even the smallest glasses I have. When sellers pay to promote themselves, they should not push the product into a search that doesn’t fit the query. Message to seller: don’t add “ allow these to come up in a search with the word “prescription””.
