I'm not one to go out and buy the most expensive just because so and so endorses it. I've been around expensive accessories around the range and cannot believe what people are paying for basic items. For the price, I couldn't pass up trying this. Fits very well. Very bright light. Switch is just fine (perhaps take a touch more pressure than some others). Now every pistol with a rail can have a light which is the entire point....light. It works, it fits and it's very affordable...highly recommend!!!

Good quality, works just as good as the expensive lights

Bought on a whim, low cost but several 5 star reviews.Fitted on a Compact Dagger, and a someone commented three hand would be easier, but after several minutes prevailed. Just a few millimeters short of perfect fit for me ( small hands) and the right hand activation switch just off angle for an instant tap on and off ( hence 4 stars).All that being physical inconvenience this little light fits tight, (no movement unlike Olight), and a very bright lumens output ( extremely adequate for back yard light up) and the strobe effect ( awkward with the reach angle) very subject disorienting as intended.So if looking for a low cost very bright and light weight tactical illuminator, go for it.Would benefit if used a magnetic charging lead opposed to a plug in.Have not range tested yet for longevity and endurance but hope to update.Update 12/13/24 - post range day test and still held strong and operational, so apart from not being on a clip mount this item performed well.Update 01/23/25. - still going strong and bright, can recommend this light enough for the low price and brightness also the version with the green laser. Only con does not come with a quick disconnect for this price but otherwise it fits tight and stays put.

BUILT-IN OBSOLESCENCE and LANDFILL CANDIDATEThis is exactly why I will NEVER again buy devices with a built-in rechargeable lithium cell that is NOT easily customer replaceable. The first device I bought (motorized hand mixer) I bought that had a similarly rechargeable but non-customer replaceable lithium cell almost immediately failed in roughly the same way. I thought I'd take one more chance on such a device.Now? Never again. Ever.This flashlight worked for a few days. Then I plugged it in to recharge and let it sit about 2 hours after it turned from "red" to "green". After all, it claims to have protections for the lithium cell and leaving a rechargeable cell plugged in a little too long shouldn't be a major problem. The Charging Control Circuit SHOULD protect it from any over-charging.However, from that point on, the light entirely FAILS to function. No button sequence has any effect on operation. It stays OFF...not even a flicker.I plugged it in to recharge again to see if that might reset it and the LED stays Red, never turning to Green.To return it, the instructions say I have to take it to a GROCERY store some 5 miles away. I'm disabled and that's a big problem for me. No easy Amazon return for this product.Meanwhile, a comparable "700LM" flashlight I bought over a year ago that uses an rechargeable 16340 user replaceable lithium cell is working great. ZERO problems using my own lithium cell and charging equipment, and the light runs for a LOT longer, too...about 4X as long (it's a 16340, 800mAh cell).[edit to add: I opened the light and found the Li-ion cell in THIS light claims 400mAh capacity, though I'm unconvinced that is accurate. I'm unsure even with my high level of technical expertise I'll be able to replace the cell. Everything is really packed in there. However, I will at least remove and test the cell separately to verify whether this is a Li cell or flashlight charging circuitry problem.]On the positive side, it was acceptably bright when it first worked and workmanship appears (edit to add VERY) good.(edit to add It was a bit brighter than the "700LM" flashlight, and it was also a higher color temperature light. Likely about 6,000K @ 800LM v. about 5000K @ 700LM)Non-customer replaceable battery/cell DESIGN is the main issue. Sub-issues are the therefore inevitable BUILT-IN OBSOLESCENCE and LANDFILLNote: as long as a device's case can be easily opened by the user and the lithium cell(s) are readily accessible and replaceable, even if it requires soldering, then that's also acceptable to me.(edited: 20250420)
