It works
I got this together with a much more expensive model from another brand, this actually reduced noise from a usb powered Roland TB-03 but the more expensive model from another brand did nothing surprisingly so kept this and sent the other one back.

Very noisy, but may still work for you
I bought this to try to remove some of the electrical noise that was present on my laptop and usb hub’s USB port, as it was stopping me from making accurate measurements in the device that was being powered by this USB port.To be electrically isolated, which this product is, it must itself contain an isolated switching power supply.Unfortunately for me, the amount of electrical noise produced by the PSU within this adapter is way more than the amount that was present on my laptop/hub’s USB port. Therefore, for my use, it only makes things worse.If electrical noise is of no concern to you, and you just need voltage isolation, then this may still be just the thing you are looking for.

Disappointing
Try to use it on my audio interface to stop noise ground hum noise coming out of my speakers. This stopped my audio interface from working altogether! and made a pulsing noise!
