PHILIPS IS MY MOST FAVOURITE BRAND. BUT THIS PARTICULAR IRON WAS DEFECTIVE FIRST TIME, got replacement but with same thermostat defect. I feel this particular product has inherent defect , company is not aware of it, the vendor must inform PHILIPS
