Add some flavor
This Aleppo pepper is my go to up the flavor on a dish. It adds mild heat, beautiful color. Add it to air fried vegetables, marinades, cooked grains along with a drizzle of olive oil. I love it.

With added OIL and SALT
This is not just pure Aleppo pepper flakes, it's got OIL and SALT added to the flakes. No mention on what oil they used or what kind of salt, so I'd have to assume it's some kind of seed oil and regular salt, which may have iodine and/or anti-caking agent added. I have 2 other brands of Aleppo pepper flakes, unfortunately both also have oil added, but not salt. Oil would go rancid pretty quick, so that means these probably will not stay good for long. I do like the taste, it's not very spicy, just a little kick. Not sure if all Aleppo peppers are created equal, another one I have is super super spicy, but this one is not. If you don't mind the added oil and salt, this tastes pretty good.

Delicious - Not Too Hot
This is a pepper I never knew I needed until I tried it. The flavor is big and bold and the heat level is much milder than crushed red pepper flakes (cayenne). Basically if you want the flavor that cayenne yields but a lot less heat, so you can use more of it and get more of that flavor, this is what you want.I've tried this many ways now. On a homemade flatbread pizza was my favorite, it added so much beautiful chili flavor without overwhelming me with heat like adding a lot of rep pepper flakes would.I also really enjoy it in tomato sauce as it adds so much rich peppery/chili like flavor. You can think of it as being a halfway point between paprika and red pepper flakes. I always wanted something like this and now I have it.

Not too spicy
Great pepper powder, and not too spicy if you just put moderate, or maybe my tolerance for spicy is way higher than normal people. Came in a resealable paper bag, and I would prefer it in some other container to be more easily used.

Perfect heat
I'm satisfied with this chili powder. It's made in Turkey, and the ingredients are natural and don't contain fillers. The color is bright but doesn't look artificial, and the spice level is medium/mild. It's aromatic, and the recommended quantity is listed, but I recommend doing a trial based on your tolerance level. It's mild, so I recommend it for stews, chili oil, sauces, salsa, and stir-fries. At $6.99 for 7 ounces, it's reasonably priced.

Excellent for topping off
Review: Premium Aleppo Pepper 7 OzThis is EXACTLY like the pepper they have in restaurants in Turkey and is such a perfect way to add a bit of a zing to already prepared food (like you would tobasco). Honestly this goes super well on pizza, pasta, even salads. It's seasoned with a bit of salt so it just enhances the pepper flavor. 100% would recommend.

Very tasty—would prefer them to be oil-free
These crushed Aleppo peppers have a good amount of heat and are full of flavor. I’m sprinkling them over all kinds of food (pasta, soup, curry) and they go well with everything. The peppers are seasoned with both oil and salt, and I would prefer them to just be pure and plain, and especially not to have the added oil, but they sure taste good!
