Sound as a pound. Works well with my hifi system

I had a few problems setting it up but I managed to find the right in puts for the cables, it's a great bit of tec.

Does what it says on the tin very well. Easy to set up and use. I was disappointed that the manufacturer does not do ear buds to keep up with their technology.Overall very impressed.

As a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver this worked great.But the optical in would not work with my LG TV even with it configured to output PCM.

Although I am still getting to grips with this and am experiencing some issues with sound dropping and latency, I have decided to give it 4 stars for now as when it works it works well..I'm getting on in years and need the TV louder than I'd like if I am to hear everything without subtitles.My wife on the other hand is a 30 years younger with perfect hearing and finds it too loud, so we have been looking at solutions and this has proven to be the best thus far.I am a geek but I still found setting this up as a transmitter to be somewhat trial and error, we wanted to try it so that we could listen using headphones that have their own built in volume controls, and after a fair bit of faff we seem to have gotten there.There are still issues however, whilst Netflix doesn't seem to mind this, other devices wouldn't work with it, we are finding that at least once a night the sound goes completely out of sync though turning the TV off and on again seems to fix this.I'm not 100% sure this is an issue with the transmitter as I purchased a Fire TV cube at the same time and have had drop outs with my sound bar since so it may be the way that is set up.I will continue to troubleshoot and up or down stars if I feel the need.How I Rate- ***** Don’t think, just buy it!- **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this.- *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives- ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits.- * Run for the door!I only order Items that I or my family have a genuine use for and as such you can be sure that they are tested in real world warts and all situations.
