RUSTINS Black Gloss Paint 500ml

This paint was the correct shade of black, it spread well and was touch dry in 30 mins. Good quality, little smell & good value against other competitors. Only down side was brushes had to cleaned in white sprit.

Perfect paint for me. Painted a white door using the black paint and needed two coats to cover, no undercoats used. It does dry in 20 minutes and I did the second coat within 2 hours. I ended up giving the door 4 coats in total just because I could do them all on the same day and it is so easy to apply and ended up with a perfect finish. Cleaning brushes, and hands, is easily done with soap and water. It is not quite a gloss finish but very near and so much less hassle than gloss paint, waiting for it to dry and having to use turps to wash brushes. I found it so good that I binned my white gloss for the frame and ordered this in white. I can highly recommend this paint.

This paint was easy to use and gave good coverage. My only problem was that the tin lid was loose on arrival and some product had spilled into the wrapping.

Painted my kitchen and wooden doors with this. It’s a great paint with a nice shine

It’s at its best a shiny satin finishI used on the back door frame and it matched well with the Matt door finish.Quite a few people have made nice comments on it so 5 stars

Did the outside job

This gloss was a lot runner than we expected. It took two coats, three in some areas to cover white gloss that was already there. Because you had to slather it on you were then left with run/drip marks. These could be sanded down and glossed back over. In hindsight I should've sanded down the gloss that was already there so that it could adhere more easily, hovever I didn't really have time for this at the time.

Just the job for downpipes and gutters. Just a quick sanding for grip and one coat application.Paint goes on well I painted a 12 foot gutter using just a 1Inch brush came out perfect.
