Pretty doable for this inexperienced DIYer
Had to remove the existing door bar when I put LVT on the bathroom floor. Had never fitted a Z bar before, it took some patience and I was worried about trimming it, but it was pretty easy with my very basic junior hacksaw. Looking at the photo I should’ve trimmed the carpet a few millimetres more but was so scared of cutting too much off. Even so I’m pleased with my DIY job, and I really like how the black looks.No scuffs so far, and even though there are fine grooves, it’s easy to clean.
