Simple Comforts: 12 Cozy Lap Quilts Paperback – May 12, 2009

This book contains 12 beautiful quilt patterns. Half of the quilts feature applique in them, which I think is one of the things this designer does best. Full color directions are very clear and easy to follow even for novice quilters. Kim Diehl has 3 other books out. I own all of them and have made many of her designs. Many of the quilts featured in this book are square and are of a size that make great wall hangings and table toppers. 'Simple Comforts' makes a great addition to my quilt library.

I love Kim Diehl's designs!! I have actually stopped all of my quilting magazine subscriptions in order to save some $$ so I can buy all of her books. Her designs are fresh, colorful and fun to make. I hate to over-work the dear lady but I want her to hurry up with the next book! Book arrived in excellent condition and sooner than I had even expected. Beautiful, beautiful designs!

I am a quilter and I am very fond of the quilts I have made by this author.

I purchased this book after seeing a kit for one of her wall hangings. I don't have a lot of patience for patchwork but love applique. This book really give me a lot of things to look forward to doing. Working on one project and find the directions clear and simple and hard to mess up. (Even for me) This book is a great addition to any library.

I'm excited to make a quilt from this book. I like the way she can dress up a pattern and make it look special. Book arrived fast and in great condition.

Simple Comforts is one of my favorite quilt books. The quilts are lovely and wonderful to make. The instruction is good. I have made at least two quilts from it and probably will go back to it again. I enjoy Kim Diehl's esthetics!

I love Kim Diehl's quilts. I have made many of her small projects and sometimes use her designs to make wall hangings.

Any book Kim Diehl writes has very good directions and I am so anxious to start a new project out of this book. I Love to appliqué and she does beautiful work. Always look forward to her next publication.l
