YES!!! the Oneida Michelangelo is my flatware set of choice for all occasions. Excellent quality and my dinner guests love the detail of this design. My first selection of this item was in 1984, as my wedding Flatware. Due to moving and traveling missed placed pieces of the sets. However, I was thrilled to locate the sets again; at Amazon.com for this wonderful price. I purchased 2 four piece sets toward my 8 place setting; thanks, Amazon.com. I hope this helps?

Q: are these the exact same piwces od silverware that yo would get from Oneida or are they made by someother company?

Yes, I checked on this pattern after I purchased them and found that the Oneida company would send this product as you see it. They are beautiful! However, the forks seemed to be a little off on the pattern stamp and are shown on Oneida's sight with the pattern stamped offset also. That is the way Oneida stamps them. So the answer is yes these are Oneida's exact product.

Q: What is the difference between the Michaelangelo set and the Louisiana set?

I haven't seen the "Louisiana" set in person. Suggest that you closely compare the design details of each from the online photos - theme, intricacy, cut of pattern. Compare if they're both 18/10 stainless. Basically, just get the set that appeals to you the most. I'm happy with "Michelangelo". It's very ornate.
