Finally something to roll the hamstrings
When I got this, I was surprised that it was bigger than I thought. The height is good to roll the hamstrings on, placing the full body weight on the area. The piece is strong enough to take this weight. It's useful for very strong rolling of the quads as well. The stick portion comes off to use like a stick, but again the pieces are firmer so it's a lot more intense. That being said, I got it to really work into my hamstrings and it certainly has helped. I have used it on the quads and for smaller work on the forearms as well.

Use it on yourself other than having someone else use it on you.
I have an extreme amount of pain, all the time, in my shoulders and neck. It has progressively gotten worse and because of it, I have been getting really bad headaches. When I seen this, I thought it could be useful to help with those triggerpoints. Normally, on the weekends, When my husband is home he will try to rub it out himself. The problem is, I have no hand strength, and it makes it hard for me to do it on myself. I thought that this handheld massage stick could help with that.Admittedly, it takes some getting used to to be able to use it on your own and be effective. It has helped to a certain degree. This past weekend, my husband decided to try to use it on me. It was not a good idea. Having someone else use this they can’t tell how much pressure to use, and it can be quite painful. I felt bruised almost immediately and I honestly don’t think that he thought he was pushing very hard. But the massage stick, is very hard in the grooves are very pronounced.I am going to continue to use this on myself only. I don’t think it’s a good idea to have somebody else use it on me. So, if you use this the right way and the way that it’s intended, I believe you will find it satisfactory.

Handles fall off far to easily
works ok for legs and trapezius muscles but the handles fall off and the parts roll everywhere anytime you use it behind your back or at an odd angle. Should have designed some sort of grip locks to prevent this. Also the individual rolling parts are a hard plastic when they would be better as a medium dense rubber or foam.

Jack of all, master of none
I love foam rollers for their use of body weight and massage sticks for their portability, and this one lets you do both. The stands are sturdy as long as they are mostly getting downward pressure and the customization options are great, just pull off a handle and swap them out. They do work out knots, but as a handheld tool its a bit big and awkward, and as a stationary roller it could be better if they improved the bases. If the bases were bigger, then they could house the 2 extra nodules instead of having to store them loosely, and it less likely to tip over when rolling joints like heels and elbows (the sideways pressure causes it to tip). So if you only have a little bit of room but want the benefits of a roller and a stick this one will get the job done, and well with TiggerPoint's really nice foam, and there are some unique benefits from having a stationary floor roller, but overall I think having 2 specialized tools would work better than one muti-tool.

The Answer to Pre-Workout Stretching & Post-Workout Recovery
The first time you see the TriggerPoint STK Fusion Recovery System in the packaging, it seems mildly confusing as to what purpose it serves. But I've been using it for a while now, and can offer a quick and easy breakdown. In a nutshell: This system helps to stretch muscles and tendons before exercise, and speed up your body's healing and recovery time when used after exercise. You can hold the massage stick by hand to stimulate specific areas of your body. Or place the massage stick in the stands provided, and use your own body weight for hands-free stimulation of certain muscle groups. There are different parts to this system, each with a specific function. I used the grey spacer on my Achilles tendon. The green massage balls are meant to find and relieve "tender spots," which basically they just mean knots in your muscles. And then I'd use the blue rollers for long strokes to stretch out muscles to increase blood flow, which means a speedier recovery. Before I workout, I use the system to get my muscles and tendons stretched out. Which means less risk of injury when exercising. I even use it before a brisk walk, or light outdoor activities like gathering firewood. After the workout, I use the system to loosen the muscles again, and get the blood flowing to them. Which means I'll be less sore, and for a shorter period of time. It works on my upper and lower body, both. What makes this system different from other massage devices is that you have the benefit of getting a hands-free massage thanks to your own body weight creating the pressure. You get the benefits of a deep-tissue massage, without having to shell out cash to a massage therapist. This is a good gift for anyone that exercises and walks often, or works out regularly.

Fine for extremities
This trigger point massage stick with stands is adjustable. You can take off each of the pieces and reposition. You can use it with or without the stand. You can use it on the stand along with body weight, or hold it in your hands for a lighter massage. Great for a leg cramp, or maybe a side/shoulder pain. It doesn't really work for the knots that can happen in your back and shoulders. Not really the fault of the product, just me not really understanding how this worked ahead of time. Easy to wash if needed, easy to store, as you can slide it under a bed fairly easily.
